About Me

Hey there! I am so thrilled you are here. I'm Becky Carey. I'm on a mission to grow my art business and want to help others do the same! 

I started painting as a little girl and that interest propelled me into my love for photography but along the way into adulthood I made a decision to put a pause on those creative endeavors to pursue my other passion which is singing, songwriting, and serving as a worship leader.

I've been married to the love of my life, Brooks, for over 41 years and now I'm an empty-nester after raising our two wonderful adult children, Matthew and Jessica. Over the years, I also worked in education, media management, events and group ministry leadership.

After years of taking on way too many responsibilities which often choked the joy right out of my soul and life, I've made a commitment to myself to nurture the "little artist Becky" and to awaken her creative voice once again through art, illustration, and content creation on YouTube.

I'm a teacher at heart who loves to inspire and encourage others to pursue their creative passions so on this website and my other social channels, I will be sharing my tips, ideas, lessons, and the nuggets of wisdom I've been learning along the way of becoming a professional artist and illustrator.

My desire is to build a supportive community where we encourage and learn together how to stay productive while pursuing a healthy, balanced, and creative lifestyle which is full of joy and that can last into our golden years!
